Can money buy you happiness? That depends on what you consider as happiness. But, can a certain amount of money buy you a one-off Ferrari? Definitely.
Ferrari offers an extensive list of options for customers to choose from the factory while building and personalizing their ideal Italian supercar. However, if you put down enough amount of cash on the table, the company will customize your car almost any way your heart and mind desires.
A wealthy British owner did just that, and the end product is this gorgeous, one-off Ferrari 458 Speciale MM. The special supercar incorporates body design cues from the latest 488 GTB and the classic 288 GTO. The blacked-out A-pillar is an homage to the legendary 288 GTO, and the taillights are taken from the 488 GTB. The 458 Speciale MM rides on a unique set of rims, which I am totally in love with. The bodywork is constructed out of aluminum, while the front and rear bumpers are crafted out of lightweight carbon fiber. Based on how you perceive it, the roofline of the 458 Speciale MM almost looks like that of the new Ford GT or even the Lotus Evora.
Also, the lower half of the car almost looks like the LaFerrari hypercar, which I totally approve of.
Mechanically the 458 Speciale MM is identical to the standard 458 Speciale, however performance will differ between the two models due to aerodynamic modifications. Power output of the 458 Speciale MM is rated at 597 horsepower and 398 lb.ft. torque. The engine sends the power to the rear wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
Since this car is an one-off, the chances of spotting it on the streets are extremely slim to none. But, if you want a one-off Ferrari of your own, just call the company’s Special Projects department and deposit a huge sum of cash.
