The long awaited 2016 Ford Focus RS is here, and for the first time, it will feature a new, torque vectoring AWD system as standard. Also for the first time, the super hot Focus RS hatchback will be coming to the States, albeit in a very small quantity for the pure Ford RS enthusiasts.
On Feb. 3rd, at Ford’s manufacturing plant in Cologne, Germany, the car manufacturer debuted the brand new and long anticipated hot hatch in front of a global audience featuring auto journalists, industry leaders, company engineers and race car drivers who were instrumental during the development of this pocket rocket. For people who were unable to attend the launch party in person, Ford Europe has posted the entire 38 minute long video on YouTube for your viewing and drooling pleasure.
The video begins by introducing all the important cars that made the RS brand a household name across the world. I could describe all of the cars mentioned in the video, but the host and the RS project manager do a better job of introducing them, so I will let the professionals take care of this task.
I could continue writing more about all the amazing things that happened in this almost forty minute long video, but I believe that you, the viewers, will be more interested and captivated by the video rather than reading all of these paragraphs. So, without further delay, ladies and gentlemen, here is the launch video of the new 2016 Ford Focus RS in its entirety, so if you haven’t already watched it, this is the perfect time to do so, enjoy!
