Automotive executives and especially automotive designers are very secretive people and think twice before they release any insider information about future models. However, Ralph Gilles, Fiat-Chrysler designer, is not one of them.
If you follow Ralph Gilles on Instagram, you know that he is known for posting some very interesting and intriguing content. His latest contribution to Instagram and the automotive world in general, is a rough sketch of a Chrysler Pacifica Hellcat. Yes, you read that right, a Chrysler Pacifica minivan powered by a monstrous 707 horsepower supercharged HEMI V8.
While out at dinner on Tuesday night, Gilles took a crayon to a paper setting on the table, and sketched the beast of a Chrysler Pacifica. Like all rough concept designs, the monstrous minivan is fitted with huge wheels, a massive wing, gaping air intakes, and an imaginary 707 horsepower supercharged V8, which sounds a lot better than the standard 3.6 L V6 and the plug-in hybrid drivetrain.
As of this writing, the Hellcat powered Pacifica is just an imaginary concept, but with Fiat-Chrysler’s plan of putting a Hellcat motor in most of their vehicles, this beast of a minivan could become a reality sooner than later. But, even if the Chrysler Pacifica Hellcat does not make it to production, that’s okay because at least we will get the Hellcat powered Jeep Grand Cherokee sometime next year.
