The Hyundai Sonata midsize family sedan has come a long way since its debut in the U.S. way back in 1988. The 2015 Hyundai Sonata Sport 2.0T packs a 2.0 L, turbocharged, Gas Direct Injection (GDI), 4-cylinder with D-CVVT motor, which generates a healthy 245 horsepower @ 6000 RPM and 260 lb.ft. of torque @ 4000 RPM. All of the power from the engine is routed to the front wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission with SHIFTRONIC system, which also features a drive mode selector.
The 2015 Hyundai Sonata Sport 2.0T achieves fuel efficiency ratings of 23 mpg in city, 32 mpg on the highway and a combined rating of 26 mpg. The fuel tank can be filled up with 18.5 gallons of regular unleaded gasoline.
The chassis is an unibody construction and offers a sport tuned suspension with MacPherson struts up front and independent multilink setup out back.
